B. January 13 -Texas High Plains Oilseeds Workshop
RSVP 775-1680; no charge.

C. February 3 — Lawn and Ornamental Workshop
RSVP Due by Monday, February 1. Call 775-1680. $20.00 registration fee payable at the door.

D. February 9 — Southwest Farm and Ranch Classic
8AM-4:15 PM Free Registration TDA CEU’s: 5 total; (3 Gen, 1 IPM, 1 L&R) CCA Credits: 3.25 total (3 Crop Mgt, 0.25 Nutrient Mgt)

D. February 9 — Southwest Farm and Ranch Classic
Topics will include pasture and hay selection, basic horse nutrition, general horse health care and using equine genetics testing to determine diseases in horses.

H. April 24 – Rainwater Harvesting Workshop
Cost $30 ($25 for Master Gardeners). Registration Deadline is april 17 includes luncha nd all materals. Walk-in registration is welcomed but no guarantee of lunch.

I. April 30 – Stored Grain Pest Workshop
5 CEU’s (2 IPM, 2 General and 1 Laws and Regulations)

J. May 24-25 – Water Well Testing
Private water wells should be tested annually. Come have your water tested May 24th.

K. June 16 – After CRP Conference
3 CEU’s (General) Pre-registration due June 14, 2010

L. July 11 – Meat Goat Jackpot

8:30-9:30 Acuff Coop Gin Office, 9:45 RACE Coton Variety Plots, 10:30-11:30 Idalou Coop Gin Office, 11:45 Cotton Spider Mite Threshold Study. Producers are welcome to participate in the tour at either or both gin locations.

N. Sept 15 – Agricutural Chemicals Conference

O. Oct. 20 — Goat Management Workshop
This workshop is designed to address goat herd management strategies

P. Oct. 27 — Transmission Line Seminar
The seminar will feature expert information on the electric transmission line process, CREZ, and options for private landowners who may be impacted by proposed transmission line routes

Q. Oct. 28 – Groundwater Ownership

R. Dec 1 — High Plains Ag Conference
The 2nd Annual High Plains Ag Conference will be held December 1, 8:30-3:00 pm 5CEU’s Available

S. Dec 5 — North Region 4-H/FFA Species Clinic
The main purpose is to teach the basic principles of livestock management as they relate to facility maintenance, selection, nutrition, animal health, handling and showmanship
